hi

Hi, I’m Abijith. I’m a software engineer, graduating with my B.E. in CSE in 2026. I like building things that solve real problems right now. That’s my favorite part of engineering—there’s always something new to learn, explore, and turn into something useful.

Day to day, I work primarily in Python—clean backends and APIs with FastAPI/Flask, a bit of applied ML/CV when it truly adds value (PyTorch/OpenCV), and Docker + simple CI to keep shipping smooth. When needed, I’ll wire up lightweight UIs with React/Next.js and use a dash of AWS to get features in front of people.

I’m big on fundamentals. I like to understand how things actually work—because once you get the basics, you can use any tool to its full potential. I tend to pick niche problems, build the smallest useful thing, document it, and improve it steadily. That mindset came from early open-source exposure.

I met Linux and open-source at 16, and I’ve been hooked since. Community-built software creating real value still blows my mind. Also, the old “Linux is hard” era is mostly gone—I happily recommend trying a dual-boot (and if you want help setting it up, ping me—I’m happy to walk you through it).

If you’d like the fuller picture, check out the Personal section of this site and my Blog—I write about how I see and understand things beyond engineering. I’m curious about a lot, so if you share any of these interests (or can teach me something new), I’d love to connect.
